Time to get an outside port put on the van.

Matt

As a London taxi driver I was often asked by people to give them a few blank receipts or even to sell them a whole pad of blank receipts.

People want them to claim bogus expenses from their employers. Or there is another scam which has been running for years. Anyone who is on income support can claim travelling expenses for hospital visits. So what they do is go on the bus or get a relative to drop them off and then go into the hospital with a hookey taxi receipt and claim back twenty quid or whatever, which goes straight in their pocket.

All the "usual types" are at it. They would have a job trying it with window cleaning receipts though.

as soon as Spring arrives and ive more energy ,i plan to take off the door cards in my van and attach a long spring to each door lock .  so that every time i shut the door it needs a key to open it .     just like the post office vans.

im thinking i will keep a spare key on a chain on my belt   and also an emergency key hidden behind the bumper somewhere
