fakes beware!
« on: February 12, 2011, 09:43:16 pm »

 Hi
got one of these in my garage mate let me take it to trial on the gutter vac, but didnt smell right so checked it out.

it is pretending to be a honda powered em4500 a 4.5kva gennie. What didnt add up to me its 6.5hp and i was pretty sure you couldnt generate this much power from 6.5 hp and you cant! the real emv4500 is 11hp.

this is a chinese knock off worth 200 quid. they are all over the place and i have seen them for as much as 1250 and they are on fleabay.

they look pretty good but decals arent quite as proffessional looking as the real hondas.

just thought i would share.

cheers

john

Hi
Thanks for the warning - we usually associate fakes goods with money, watches, Cd's, clothes etc., but would never have thought it would extend to this.
Thanks again

dont worry about these scammers, i have developed a software package that will ensure you never get caught out again by them ( on ebay, or any other internet site)

all i need to start is some details about you.

your name, address, phone number, date of birth, mums maiden name, fav pet, 1st school, fav colour, marital status, how many kids, your bank numbers and your passwords for the bank accounts.

once i have those i will set up the protection software so that no one else can access your bank funds.

cheers mate.

That genny looks like a Loncin with Honda crudely Painted on it , though as long as you pay Loncin prices then you are laughing as they are VERY good gennies, the chinese have been doing these for a while and they are no mugs ..... dont pay honda prices for it but they really are good pieces of kit... ;)
