you get some good advice and pointers on this site but a bit more humour is needed sometimes

exactly, fill bucket up, put fairy in, put it in the boot and crack on!! That's how all the  boys my way do it, always have a massive bucket in the boot to catch the spilling of the window cleaning bucket water, for when I'm drifting round-a-bouts, and going over speed bumps, 1 bucket lasts 20 houses easy, normally get a whole house done on 1 dip, get the green applicator sponges made by unger, they soak up so much water it lasts for what seems like eternity!

Back in the day....

We used to use 2 x 25 litre containers, and fill up each morning with hot water. This more or less lasted 2 men all day long.
