CCS - i think the pro window brushes are exellent for 1st cleans but i find the SL dual trim easier and better
for regular cleaning ( i would like the stock on the SL to be that found on the pro window as its better for
scraping.

i try to be open minded so willing to try out a tecbuk brush - and i think the thumb screw clamping for easy
changeover is i good idea

i agree with you smudger
that brush looks like it would be better for 1st cleans maybe or better for conserv roof
i might get one to try for conserv roofs
but would never use it for window cleaning
i carnt go back to using any brush that looks like that for window cleaning
after using the aerial brush i would end up losing to much time

what aerial brush is it that you use? what one were you refering to that looks better for first cleans?

I don't like the pro-window brushes. I bought one a couple of months ago to try. Too wide, WAY too stiff & a tad heavy. I was disappointed with it, it's now redundant.

Given the people & companies behind this brush it should have been MUCH, much better. ;)

Lee was it you that said you pulled out the shorter bristles on your SL mono?
If so did you pull ALL the shorter bristles or just the central line of them?

i pull out 2 bunches on the outside of each fan jet that i fitted because the bigger hole that the fan jets need got in the way of those bristles, it was the DT mono

It depends what you use now, I had my controller set to 30 with pencils, but upped it to 40 with fans, and I'm happy with that, but you can rinse quicker so water consumption shouldn't be any more.

lol ive just made a piece of plastic like the one in your photo to my gardiners brush,not to scrape birds poop of the window but because i found the water would run of the brush and down the pole. the reason this was happening was because the brush head was the same size as the gooseneck fitting letting the water just travel acroos.
