loads of cleaners
« on: January 29, 2011, 05:53:03 pm »
been cleaning for many years but over the last 3 years the number of cleaners have blown out of proportion all down to the credit crunch ( no jobs in diffrent industrys ) a lot of cleaners doing the job now will not stay when the economy goes better
this indusry is being bled and bled the amount of firms dependant on this industry

suppliers
canvasers
wfp fitters
printers

they would feel the pinch when the job market picks up but us cleaners who keep at it will pick up loads of work it will happen in the future

every week i see a new van out .just last week someone knocking was quoting half what i charge .didnt loose any custys to him tho.

wfp has defo put more washers out there .

there is work out there but its slow to come in and people are looking for cheap more and more .
ive quoted jobs at 10 lately that i would normally have quoted at 12 /15 ,And still not getting them .
im vat as well so my 10s are 8.33 .

edward your right the residential is getting cheap and way too competitive but i find the commercial is not the same?

not sure why maybe they think they will get more than they can but i dont see no need to quote dearer for commercial, im vat reg too so they will take the hit which proberly helps

hi ron ,
i do about 70% commercial ,but do like domestic and feel less vunerable .loose a house and its a tenner .loose a commercial and its considerably more.

im off for an 8 mile easy run now .london is getting closer ;D
