Hot System capital asset?
« on: January 29, 2011, 01:17:52 pm »
What do you think chaps?

A fitted heater system - capital asset or consumable?

Not going to be worth much in a years time is it?  £3k fitted new, sell on as part of system in a year for £500 maybe?

Im definately no accountant but I would of thought a hot system could be classed as an equipment purchase (plant and machinery) under AIA and would be 100% tax deductable.
Maybe someone can confirm this?
