"self amalgamating tape", think thats what is called, sorry about the spelling, they sell it in b&q and maybe screwfix.
Its a rubber tape that welds to itself when wrapped a few times.

Agreed.The pressure on our systems is too high, in a static application ( a pipe that doesn't move, stretch, or get wound on, it would probably work.)

I tried to fix it today by bending the hose to expand the hole and putting glue in as a plug and then wrapping round with tape.This failled.

I've done fix two but not tested it yet, this time i'm using more of a sealant type glue.

Maybe go to a tyre depot and ask them to vulcanise it from the inside, but then they would have to cut the pipe to get access  ???
