Hi guys

I need to quote to clean 2 blocks of 12 flats, ground,1st & 2nd floor windows.
One block straightforward,
Other block has one set railings on French doors, one set French doors per flat.

They asked for 8 & 12 weekly prices, 30 days payment.

I was thinking a per window price.

Any help be appreciated.

well you didnt say where you are . if in fulham £40 per window but in golders green youll only get a tenner .

Pricing flats on an individual "per flat" basis probably won't gain you any work.
Pricing for jobs like these is quite competitive.
I have a job that is three straightforward blocks of 12 flats with a bit of inside window cleaning.  I graft and get the three blocks done in 4 hours.  It can all be done from one parking place.  I got the job because I estimated how long it would take me (got that dead right for a change) and asked myself what would be my minimum hourly rate for a job that is hassle free and within two miles of home.  Also, they pay very promptly, usually within a week.  One cheque from one management company.
I won't say what I price it at but you will have to trust me when I say that it is a tight one.  I don't mind because they don't give me any grief.

not very regular so i would priceup at 120 a block on the 12 week 8 weely 100 cant be more than 3 hours to 4 hours work i would of thought

If I had priced the job that I do at £6 a flat, I doubt I would have got the job.  However, even at a lot less, I still earn OK out of it.  I suppose a lot depends how much someone wants the job really.  It is a quarterly job and renewed yearly.  I do think I will need to up the price a bit when renewing next time (hopefully it won't cost me the job).

I agree with this method for pricing this type of work. I wouldn't get any at £6 a flat

I do 36 old peoples flats at £6 a flat. The bigger the job the more you start to lean towards an hourly rate. I have to collect the money from each flat. That takes as long as the cleaning.
