Oven Cleaners-what do you put in your bath?
« on: January 21, 2011, 09:09:37 pm »
No i dont mean radox or bubble bath! ;D

While working last week guy came over and watched me as i scrubbed oven racks clean at my van.

He said his brother in law was an oven cleaner in Scotland and had just found some new 'powder' that he added to his bath that gave him unbelievable results.

Ive always used a bit of degreaser in the water combined with a fair bit of elbow grease.

Anyone know of this magic powder or was he winding me up?

Hi Bill

I use vaclensa de-carb powder in the tank as well as de-greaser, the powder is designed to go in the decarboniser machines which we use on commercial jobs but it works really well in the dip tank.

Give me a bell if you like and I will send you a bag to try as you have to buy in bulk from vaclensa.

regards

I sell the decarboniser tanks as well as the liquid solution that goes into the tank. We did originally use powder but now use a liquid form as the powder was difficult to dissolve in cold water. The solution we provide needs a 1 in 10 mix with water and comes in 5lt tubs.

If anyone is interested in trying it out give me a call on 07771 614672.
