DI PROBLEM
« on: December 29, 2010, 05:57:48 pm »
The water in my tank is about 35 ppm (didnt realise ro resin was spent) does anyone use a 10" clear glass vessell (5 stage ro type) to polish before pump in there van? i have a spare one i could fit, will the pump still work well..IE get a high enough flow rateto clean windows or is there a higher flow through rate on the blue resin bottles? ps i have always transferred to tank 100% pure, so dont have a proper di cannister. thanks.

the above suggestion by myself is just a quick fix idea, do you think it would work?

I think you'll just blow the resin out of the filter housing?

I've used 35ppm water before with perfect results! ;)  I normally don't think twice about using up to 10 ppm but I got lazy a few months ago & wasn't checking often enough. On a big two day job (in/out) I tested it at lunch time- 35PPM!

Went & inspected everything, spotless! ;D
