My Lloyds business account shows name and address (only a few come through without an address in the reference)
Only those who risk going too far will truly know how far they can actually go

Santander do not show the references that you supply to the customer.  They do if the account has been migrated from A & L though but I wonder how long that will last.
Due to this issue, I put cash and cheques into the Santander business account (easy deposit at ATM 24/7) and I receive bank transfers into my Co-op business account - which I started for this specific purpose.
I went through the complaints procedure with Santander after they stopped showing the references.  Their final letter was that they might get around to it sometime if they could be arsed. I wrote back saying that I could be arsed to go elsewhere and get an account at another bank.  Well, it wasn't worded exactly like that but that was the gist of it.

Had my Santander bank statement today with my name & address on it but on the back, someone else'sname a/c no and transactions. Rang them and they said they would put another one in the post! Told them not good enough as they have seriously breached Data Protection, asked to be put thru to Complaints Dept and they cut me off! Crap service.

So it's still happening?
This has happened a lot lately with Santander and they are up for some huge fines.  Also, compensation of £100 per incident should be paid out.  Unfortunately, I think that goes to the person whose data you received rather than to you.

Have a read of this if you want to:-
