I have had a customer's cheque bounce on me, she wont answer the phone or the door she is just not communicating with me at all.  I have left her messages and i still don't get a reply. This is the only time it has happened to me in two years of trading. How would you Handel it? Thanks.

had happen to me a couple of times mate and almost certainly will to you, you just have to write it off mate and enter in your books as a bad debt.
If really miffed put some dirty water in a spray bottle and squirt the hell out of the windows, makes you feel less ripped off ;)

How much is the cheque for?

Send her a recorded delivery letter giving her 7 days to pay up and see what happens.

If it isn't for much then just write it off. The customer is clearly in trouble if the window cleaner can't be paid.
Pursuing them will be adding to their woes to be honest. Its up to you but I would just forget about it.

Yeah, we should all work for free. No way should the customer have had to cancel your services when she knew she would struggle to pay. No way should she have to have the decency to answer the door and be honest and say she is skint. Get a grip steve!!
