got up at 6am filled van then i thought id take a trip to b and q to get a tap connector(other one keeps falling off if i use the hot tap!!)as it was lashing it down.anyway got connector and thought id go straight to work.sat in the van for an hour with a flask of tea waiting for the rain to stop.still bouncing down after an hour and thought sod it im going home!!

came home tried the connector on tap.absolutely useless for my taps!just wasted a tenner! :

now rain stopped and its bright sunshine!!cant be bothered going out now as ive brought everything inside including barrels as its forecast -5 tonight for the north west!

oh well ill be out tommorrow and saturday as its only forecast a bit of snow and ice!!

im off to new york for new year but its usually about -15 at this time of year!!could do with a sunshine holiday really!!

Rain and snow with high winds in notts, took everything out of the van yesterday and wont be putting it back until after christmas, managed to get enough done over the last 7 days to pay the bills and tide me over until new year, going to spend some time re-arranging my round and getting some admin sorted. Start the holidays early and spend some time with the new son and missus.

Did about 2hours this morning manchester snow/sleet now...hopefully working 2moz weather from 2moz 0c or below so thats me till next year..merry xmas..

ps.. stan my sister just come back from cyprus ped down all week..we go there 2-3 times a year.

Weird. I worked all day in the rain. I never work in the rain. Today I just did it. Seven years and only worked in the rain when I was caught in it. Only thing people said was 'I don't envy you today' and just paid up. One customer from down the road paid me in advance before I got to her and it was pouring down.

I guess you can work in the rain. Next year I'm just going to do it.
