no but i hate using the poles i cant get a good job, i made an attachment for the pole, its a old paint roller where i cut the handle off so it slipped on my pole with a clip on the end which i wrap with a chamois to get some left over water, im getting a wfp in new yr so not to worried for now.

How did someone manage to copy your website 4 years before you opened it?
How do you fit a 3 meter pole inside the back of your van, and why are you collecting rainwater for trad cleaning?

This has got to be Bateman  ;D Could be Stu Mac too. ::)

well a 3 meter pole is in sections so it will fit in the bk of a van.
as for rainwater i found rainwater dont leave spots on the glass where as i had problems with tap water also i cut bk on liquid all together. nah not bateman

Yeah OK so you are saving money by not using fairy liquid  ( ::) ) and someone copied your web site 6 years before you opened it?

If it's not Bateman, I wonder who it is lol. Good laugh though mate. ;D ;D

Nobody's insulting you mate  ??? You need to be truthful when posting. Most of your posts are about what you are going to do. When a new guy comes on here asking about how to start up, he won't need to hear that it's hard to get started from a bloke that spends all day on his PC instead of being out there knocking doors and dropping leaflets.

Nothing wrong with being a new on here or new to this game of window polishing. Just be careful not to give advice about stuff you haven't done yet.

If you feel insulted, can't help you mate. I'm always trying to help new guys, but only when they listen. Some of the guys on here have been going more than 30 years. If they give you advice, it would be a good idea to take it. It's no good having a sign written van then spending all day on here instead of canvassing. Your van and a funny ladder won't pay your rent.

No insult intended.

Looks like you feel like your under attack. ??? There are lots of guys not working for the last 2 weeks or so. Nothing wrong with being on here !! You need to delete some back posts of yours if you want to change your story.

You said you have 14 custies. Great we all need to start somewhere. You wanted to get 3 new custies a week, good target to aim for. Not a problem. Just try to avoid talking about your website being copied and cold hands on your ladder. You've managed to work with a tool (Wagtail) the even pro's find hard to get the knack of. Working upstairs windows with an 18 ft pole and a 6 inch Wagtail is something I'd love to watch one of the old salts on here do, let alone a newbie!! ;)

You don't have to prove anything on here mate. You will have a problem getting some people to believe you thougfh, if you spin a yarn. ;)

I'm not having a pop at you mate, just trying to help you see how things go on a forum as big as this one.

nah its ok im a touchy sod, i really wanna make this wc business work out, im to eager, like a kid at xmas  ;D ;D ;D so i try anything 6 inch wagtail 14 inch wot ever , poles bendy ladders wot ever works. the story of the ladders are i cant leave ladders on my roof i live in a bad area and to be honest i was exspecting to wake up look out the window and have my writing on my van peeled off. i have no where to store my ladders and taking them on and off would do my head in so i got them ladders. dont plan on using them on every home either. the ladders were a bargain at 40 odd quid so i grabbed the last pair they had. i use them for hard to get places like shed roofs where my poles cant get.  i dont spin yarn i always speak the truth and i just repeat to other posts what ive read on here.  :-\

That's what I thought. It will be exciting to start your own business. I thought it was a wind up. ;) By the way, you can lock your ladders onto the roof bars with a decent padlock and chain at night.

Ant, so you intend to go WFP in the new year...where are you going to get your purified water from or are you going to manufacture your own?
