fish tank heater problem
« on: December 13, 2010, 03:56:42 pm »
I have lost the little suction cups from my heaters, that stick to the tank and keeps the heater from touching the sides, does anyone just lie them on the bottom of the tank or will it melt the tank. Has anyone tried this. It doesn't melt the little plastic clips so I am thinking it should be ok.

I wouldn't like to say but I would try not to let the heater touch the side but i think they are just covering themselves if it melted someone fish tank and crack they would be in trouble if 500L of water covered someone front room  :-\ I just tried to put one in a round water butt ::)
