just not tried it matt!all my barrels froze up the other week(week before last!)so i just took a week off and done xmas shopping and stuff then last week i used trad pole for 3 days then cold wfp thurs/fri/sat.

all my gear is inside including barrels.they are half full with cold pure water.in the morning ill fill  them up to the top with hot pure and put them in van with thick duvet over them and just take a couple out when needed during the day!they should still be at least warmish until 330 when itll be too dark to clean anymore anyway!! ;) ;D ;D

Hi Dazmond
you are supposed to try it out on the windows, not the cars.

You don't want to be washing your car with hot water, pretty bad for the paint.

Daz.

don't quote me on it but I'm led to believe that hot water through resin will knacker the resin

dont wash me van with hot water?.... ;D ;D ;D your having a laugh are nt ya!!course i use warm/hottish water.always have with no problems!!

as for filling up via DI.the resin is ok up to 60 degrees.i have changed my mind though as its too much of a ball ache filling up in the morning.also the connector off my bath tap keeps slipping off due to the temperature of the  water making the rubber fitting very soft!! ::) ;D ;D

ive got a duvet over full barrels in the van and i find them ok if it doesnt get below -2 overnight.
