Deadliest Catch on Sky
« on: December 07, 2010, 05:53:42 pm »
Anybody watch it ? if you do you'll know what it's all about.
if you don't ? well it's about crab fishermen who fish the Crab fields of the Berings sea close to the Artic Circle in the middle of winter :o.

What i'd love to know is what Gloves do they use? They just look like normal Rubber gloves to me , but surely there is no-way that they would use these? They would have frost bite in seconds

anyway i want some of those gloves  ;)

There are areas on my round you could catch crabs but if tempted normal rubbers would do the trick

incidently i favour Joka Polar for my hands

Showa 460s.

There was a program last week showing workers in a temperature controlled fish Market and they wore 460's too.

If there is a warmer glove out there, I've yet to see it.

Where are you fishing fromThey are a heavy duty rubber glove , with a second pair of insulation/work  glove inside.

Quite bulky most of the time ( a bit like the joka type)(these are my favorite so far).

(And i used to fish)

Where are you fishing from
