I wouldn't have the neck to turn up on a sunday. Don't you think it smacks a bit of desperation? Such a pain in the jacksey all this frost and stuff.

Ron,

Sorry, mate; the pic wasn't much help.

I'd love to work Sunday, but this is what would happen.  I'd think about it, mull it over and when Sunday came, I wouldn't work.  I know what I'm like.

But if you've got the determination to do it, do it.  Many, if not most, of my customers, particularly the elderly ones really like to have their windows cleaned prior to Christmas; some of the younger ones too.

So if you want to do it, do it.

I can`t see a problem with working Sunday. I don`t think it smacks of desperation, you`re providing a service. And there`s been some pretty desperate posts on here anyway.
It won`t suit all customers but you`re unlikely to do that all the time and you could try to work it out with them.
Whether I do it or not, I`m not sure.

I think i,ll just knock and say due to the recent weather we"ve had we are having to work when we can if you dont want us to clean your windows today, see you next year and i,ll wish them a merry Christmas,

In context though I've only got the missus and 3 kids to maintain (no mean feat either), but if you've got vans and men sat idle then I'd probably be getting them head torches and ear muffs to work nights AND sundays. I just hope to get enough done Thursday/Friday to keep the large wolf from the small door.

dont think you would have much problems with locked gates and desperate time need desperate measures to be taken,I trying to a bit each day and keep ticking over but may have to re-evaluate the situation by the weekend.

why do some of you guys worry what the custy will think?

i dont give a f***!same with using a trad pole in freezing weather!not give as good a finish as wfp?so what?ive been using them for years in freezing weather with no complaints!!

if a custy has an issue with me working sunday then theyll get  missed until next year!simple!i bet not one will complain though!ive got too much work to get through so im not bothered anyway!!

Definitely working Sunday. Can't moan about being short of funds/not getting to people and then not working a Sunday this close to Christmas. As long as you don't start at 8 can't see why anyone should object. It's either that or dirty windows for crimbo ;D

I worked last Sunday and will work again this Sunday.  Start about 10.30, most people do not mind these days as it is just like a normal day.  I.e shops are are open and pubs open all day.
