they are not snow tyres,They are winter tyres, and from what i have read, they are about as good as normal tyres in snow, They just grip better in temperature below 7 degrees C ?

I needed a front tyre change (the drive wheels) the other day and asked if they had any winter ones.  No dice but just getting two new tyres felt more secure.  I could feel the traction was better.
