Canvasing
« on: December 05, 2010, 05:41:00 pm »
Just wondering whats the best way to canvas large houses?

when i say large i mean to the extent of houses like Matt Bateman does where maybe you only do 1 or 2 a day?

Thinking of nocking but will the person who owns the house be there? i do big ones but nothing like the very large houses but they came to me.

So for the people who clean the very large houses £100 + type jobs how do you canvas these?
Dave.

Most of the large houses that I do I got from doorknocking!

I would just leaflet them with a quality leaflet.

Just door knock - usually a Sunday morning is good as the 'family' are at home
depending on which drive i have used i go for the front door, but usually look for a well used entrance to the
side/rear as this tends to be the place the owners are - don't seem to run into servants these days !

i price the same way as i would for an average semi --  'x' number of windows times £££ charged per window.

most of these are done  3 or 4 monthly - yet to have one of these babies go 4 wky  :(
