Is george any good
« on: December 05, 2010, 12:21:26 pm »
Need to organise my round better. You lads with knowlege of george, does it work and how easy is it to use as IT. is not my strong point.
If it is a time saver it's worth the few quid it costs ? unless it takes me a lifetime to learn and input the info.
Thanks
Craigh.

You can download a free 60 day/use trial and start inputting your round (which does take time) Its good teches you to become methodical.

Spreadsheet fine if you're IT savvy!! But for those that aren't (or even those that are), George is defintely worth the money.  Very simple and logical to use for organising and maintaining your round, Good level of reports available.  Would advise to play around with the trial to organise the way you work before going live with it.  All in all, probably the best £50 I've spent on WC.

I'd be up a gumtree without it. Simplicity itself to use.

Not sure how anyone with more than 20 custies does without it, organises your round, tells you were to go and when and also at the end of each month you print a payments list and expenses list to give to your accountant at the year end. As long as you update it as you go along its fantastic. ;D
