Its a very easy transition from alot of security work to being a clamper mate you would be surprised. I never worked for some little seedy company. It was %100 legit and abov board. Not like these twats you see on watchdog. Dont get me wrong mate iv leathered a wheel clamper that clamped my mates car, i dont like them but when you need money you need money. Iv earnt over £700 in a day....my mum has a law degree and works at a very posh company and she cant earn anywhere near that! Not trying to defend myself...do a poop job like that and expect to take poop

Topic: Found a profession far lower than a windowcleaner  ??? ??? ???

If you're paying your bills, feeding the children asnd have pride in your work...
WHY oh WHY would you think you are lowly? ::)

I've been a Carpenter & joiner, HGV Driver, served in the Forces and many other thankless jobs... ::)

The satisfaction I get when walking away from spotlessly clean windows, if only fleeting, is still Job Satisfaction.
Have pride in what you do and be happy 8) ;) :D

both are much worse than cleaning windows, i dont feel this is a lowly job what so ever

it is what you think and make of it.....

take it you wont be sending him a christmas card ;D

I can think of one Christmas card to send him.
I once saw one (no, it wasn't sent to me  ;D )  that said on it  "Jesus loves you".  Inside it said "Everybody else thinks you're a [insert favourite expletive here]"
Sorry mods.

trippy was a stripper before he window cleaned how low that ;)

My step daughter is a stripper (lap dancer) and earns a bloody fortune (upto 4k a week), it may be seen as a lowly job done by desperate women, but the sad, lowly and desperates are the blokes who spend the weeks house keeping to watch.

When I worked in Spain, I knew a few dancers out  there, they really did earn a fortune.
Bit different, but also knew some retired "working girls" , Now these girls were late 30's and retired!
They were very solvent.

And they are car salesmen - utter scumbags!

Having encountered a few lately the worst seem to be the main dealers. My son wanted a particular Honda "we have one on our system" oh great. "that will be £1000 non returnable deposit please" that's on a second hand car that he's never seen.  ???
Went to Basingstoke yesterday for another (in stock) "we have done the figures for you sir - here we go - a pittance for part exchange, £400 gap insurance, £300 scotch guard, £110 road tax, £400 extended warranty (after they just told us how utter reliable their cars are) £500 deposit oh and of course £150 admin fee!!!!!!!!!!!!! And by the way there is absolutely no fuel in the tank ,cos we pump it all out."

If he didn't want the car I would have shoved their figures right up their exhaust pipe.
I can't believe these companies sell anything.
To top it all I had to wait for the rep to stop laughing when I told him I was a window cleaner - "ha ha ha, yes we have a guy who comes round here in an old volvo and carries all his water inside ha ha ha!"

GAP optional and available online for about £95 ....... scotchguard optional ... warranty available online for less as well ...

Is the admin fee for the finance company ?

Sell the px yourself.

Road tax ... well we all have to pay it

Fuel in new car ... guess you will be leaving the px empty as well.

Sold cars for 23 years ... sounds like you didnt negociate too well ??

Not taking salemans side .... after all you can always walk away .... lots of used cars out there  ;)
