ive just taken the plunge from doing trad to wfp got a new van system etc and cant use the dam thing with the weather >:( so spent the time off lagging the van. a mate of mine is a pipe lagger and he made me up some gear it looks the dogs b******s.just waiting for heater for the van for back up igot a beauty from a army surplus its a ex mod so should be good  kicks out  9.000, btu laymens terms 1.5kw orthere abouts it runs on parafinn, only £35. saw one on flea bay for£70 plus £12.00pp and it still had a few days left to run. but by the time it gets here it will be ;D spring

A word of warning! I had a parafin heater for a while. soon got rid though, it makes your van stink for months and leaves a thick oily soot over everything. takes ages to get rid of that too.

aparently it only makes sut if you dont have the wick set right ie it has to be a blue flame not yellow so ive been told ill give it ago. see if i can put up with the pong

Trouble being to keep it blue you need lots of oxygen, you shut it in the back of a well sealed van and it'll soon turn orange and cause problems.
