Do you Bait and Switch?

Why do you ask that?

Your prices look low , so if you do not like bait and switch do you upsell to the majority of your clients?

Hopefully Vernon you'll take this question as a question and not a slur...

What do you think when you see cleaners charging 4 or 5 times the amount you charge?

I'm sure most cleaners have been at shall we say the lower end of the pricing market but what we do find is that prices can be increased and you can find a market for them.

Looking forward to your answer.

Because there are 1.2 million searches a month for carpet cleaning and locally there are 870,000 searches Carpet cleaning London there are 14,800 local searches.
Where as when you go for some keywords like carpet cleaning Portsmouth, there are probably 280 searches a month, not much to go after.
Although there are 1300 searches for your area Birmingham.

Vernon,

That is total searches in google.com in broadmatch. That is any query containing those two words. If you do a UK only search in exact match you get 9,900 searches nationwide. It seems a lot of work if you are only working in London. If you are working countrywide then fair enough.

Not at all a slur Shaun
If they are getting that,I think that they are getting a good compensation for their labour.
However, I am up against increasing competition, from all sides in London.
I have charged 4 or 5 times more that I do at the moment, but that takes so much managment, when you are doing the volume I do, then the exta charges are swallowed up in, tele sales people, salespeople, cars, fuel last but not least the poor old cleaner.
Now since I have no advertising cost at all, infact my advertising gives us a profit, no chemical bills, no repair bills, all parts at cost.

I gather your leaflets are put out for Free  due to your leaflet company .

Not sure where your profit comes from if cleaners are pocketing sales

Just trying to understand how volume carpet cleaning model works

but do realise you need to keep it quiet due to competion

1. Profit is from cleaners a goodone at that
2 Profit from the other 3 leaflets that I put out with mine
3 Profit from machine sales and Hire
4 Profit from parts chemical, labour
I could give 3-5 more profit areas
