We've just been using ladders and a squeegy all week and will continue to do so till it gets warmer.

I've selected the easy stuff; I'm not doing awkward jobs trad; and to be honest I'm quite enjoying the simplicity of it.  However I haven't turned over as much as I would've and I'm feeling pretty tired.

worked 4 hrs since last wednesday its either been to cold or snowing heavy was knackered yesterday dragging trolley thourgh  a 1 ft of snow in some places but you got to try heavy snow tomorrow hopefully  work friday and saturday

well done for trying mate must be horrendous where you live!!!!! its bad enough down here. Ive written of the rest of the week.

I can manage with one of these even now I'm using the car, AND DON'T WASTE IT, TAKE IT HOME AND POUR IT ON THE COMPOST HEAP.

Been working all week.
Snow here but nothing like up North.

First time I have seen water freeze on double glazed windows.
Had to call it a day at 14.30.
Even the water from the aplicator started to freeze on the windows.
Makes you work quicker though!

Didn't work yesterday - not due to weather - van broke 

out today - SUNNY! - but wind chill -5 brrrr... still got 2 days work done.

I have never noticed before, and we always clean in freezing cold weather.

Oh it'll keep your system running. Would have helped me today!
But for those with freezing on glass problems it's unlikely to help.

Light snow here and the roads are clear.

Started at 10 am in icy windy Avonmouth and did a small commercial wfp and put grit down and swept it and the water away round the entranceway door which I bladed trad.

Then did four houses wfp and salted and swept away from the doors which I did trad. Then as it was getting near 3pm I finished off with three bungy's trad with screenwash and water in my bucket 50/50.

So I'm making my goal of hitting three figures a day so far this week but it is only half what a good December day (say 5 degrees celsius with no prospect of freezing overnight) would produce.

Hey ho - pre wfp six years ago and a ton in a day was a reasonably good day for me.

worked yesterday, nursing home all day hose lying on snow,worked all day no ice on pole, have had hot water for the last month, love it, keeps hands warm,hose easy to move and wind in, today, o my god wot a nightmare
 my lad put the battery clamps togever when connecting battery,  pump fuse blown, no prob's, but boiler not working, cant get it to start.  so work with cold, hose like a steel rod,  loger time spent on hosing down
ice forming on pole getting harder and harder to get pole up and down 2.45 pole frozen cant move it
get spare pole water out of one jet  only, 3.30 water freezing on glass give up. still 22 houses cleaned so not to bad but the diference between working with hot and cold , [heaven and hell ]

one of my biggest concerns is the water falling to the ground and freezing.
if someone slips on it i could be liable.

You WILL be liable, but some people here think i'ts worth the risk.  The risk of their pocket, that is, not to the poor sod with a twisted ankle.

So far we have not lost anytime this week until today. we are starting at 9 insted of 8 as its still minus 5.

We run a cold system but I have found if i prepare well overnight we get through the day as if it were like any other, apart from freezing our own nuts off of course
