Yeah Andrew mentioned this switch yesterday so I guess I'll get it fitted, I'm guessing you have to disconnect the hose that feeds your hose reel or pole and put this in your tank so you dont start pumping out water while the van is parked up over night? To be honest it wont make much difference to me as my working parts, pumps DI etc are in a thermal insulated cabinet tank, the decision to go hot was purely about being able to work on the coldest of days without fear of hose reels and brush heads freezing whilst working on a job.Cracked glass does concern me but I guess once you've adjusted the temperature correctly then this can be avoided
i have a heat wave £2.500 runs off diesel tank also has a frost stat setting so it switches on when it reaches 2 degrees and runs hot water through the system ,money well spent i bought another one for my other van no regrets...Antdid it cost much to get fitted ?was that difficult ?got any pics of it fitted ?thanksrob2500 inc fitting,i am more than happy to put pics on here but you will have to tell me how sorry crap with computers
Thermo pure by ionics hasnt let me down, works great all day even at these temps -6 cleans great, and dries quick, happy bunny I am, my advise, go for it, you wont look back !!!
Thanks guys for all the posts - nice to have so many of you with positive comments.Have booked van in next week with purefreedom for a 2 man set up - hopefully with frostat and return to tankAny PF users got any other tips or advice to addCheers Carey hi carey for the price we pay for them you make sure they throw a frost stat controller in and return the hoses back to the top of the tank all they need to do is make 2 holes and fit two connectors to it depending on what connectors you have on your hoses on
