Ice Ice Baby!
« on: November 28, 2010, 11:10:10 pm »
Well I'm all frozen up. Pipes and pumps in the van are solid with ice. Got an oil filled heater in there now over night. See how it goes.
Supposed to be in Runcorn in the morning. Past two days trying to release an inlet pipe I've snapped the filter in the head.  >:(

Anyone else struggling?

i am prostponing 2 large jobs this week as throwing large volumes of water about in these temperatures i feel would be highly irresponsible to the public.

The store is colsed till Wednesday, when it re opens

Our pressure washing side is pretty much down until February / March but we're even struggling with the Contract Stuff.

Had a call this morning from one of our cleaners with loads of chem's frozen solid! Only the polish seems to have made it.

Never had this before, not just such cold temp's but also the duration causing the problems.

Screens frozen daily inside and out too!

Fingers crossed it warms up soon.

Not sure about Global Warming, more like the bloomin Ice Age  :o

Yeh but it's no good if the hose en route to the hot box is frozen and the pump head!  ;D

Of which I've just burst mine after defrosting the pump!  ;D

we use hot and it makes no difference in these temperatures the water still freezes and you will be left with a big ice rink ;D
