I had to dig back to find this because of something on the local news tonight

I said no and had not worked in Windsor for over 2 years and asked why they thought I had done the carpet clean.  They said they had been told by the tenant I had done it and showed them "my card" with my number - it had been given to them by the carpet cleaner.  Very odd.  I worry that they have nicked my details from somewhere to use my trade accreditations, customer reviews etc. and got some cards printed up - but why use my number?  Since then I have done a job in Windsor for someone who had been given my number from a card but she didn't have it to show me.

A builder covering Bracknell has had his 'identity copied' by some low lifes who door knocked and said they were this particular builder. End result was they got £44,000 out of the elderly couple. The genuine builder is gutted that someone could do this using 'his' name and what the end result could be for his business. The guy concerned has said all the job needs is a couple of hundred £'s worth of work and that he will do it free of charge.

It's quite frightening what damage can be done to your reputation with just one  swipe.

we been getting lots of prank call of late. its there guys in call centres they set up a conference calls.

one we had one guys was putting on a French accent and complaining about the standard of a clean that we had done (not) the second was they call one person and at the same time call a second then sit back and listen. this one is the worst as every time you hang up the phone rings again at both ends.
