Battery charger fuse keeps blowing

I have a 4040 unit in my shed in which I run the booster pump with as my pressure is low,the booster pump runs off a 12 volt leisure battery,when tank is full I disconnect the crocodile clips from the booster pump and connect the battery to the charger to recharge it,the 20 amp fuse keeps blowing,never happened before but this week I kept replacing the fuses,any ideas guys! ???

I know it sounds a bit basic, but check the wires where they come out of the charger. If the plastic has split the wires will short out and blow the fuse. I only mention this, as it happened to me a few months ago, it was where I wrapped the wires around the charger when finished and it wore through the plastic.
