Do you clean your own windows?
« on: November 13, 2010, 12:47:25 pm »
Its a common fact that most tradesmen wont do their own jobs or at least not on regular basis.
I clean my windows when it suits me.

I am lucky I have a round that covers the road were I live so do them when I do the rest, never get paid though.

Another window cleaner that must be ready for retiring never cleans his and they are the most dirtiest windows I have ever seen.

I live in the middle of a 5 house terrace and do my neighbours every 6 weeks so its no bother to do mine at the same time. Also, alot of my local customers pop the cheque through my door so I like to have my windows/frames/door and porch spotless all of the time.

yes once or twice a year, I would gladly pay the guy that does the rest of the street, but he thought I was taking the pee when I asked him ::)

Mine get done about every 2 months,

I used to have loads of jobs I did for free, family, friends, girlfriends  ;) (too many of those)
As they were not done on the same day I never noticed until I sat and worked out times.

I was working almost the equivalent of 1 day a month for free. I soon put a stop to that  ;D

used to do them regular as clockwork, but recently it always seems to rain afterwards and cant see the point, what with this bad weather and short days I may have a word with myself and see if I can skip a couple of months and do them in the spring, what do ya reckon ?
