4040 ro advice please
« on: November 13, 2010, 12:21:49 pm »
Hi I have a hf5 4040, my supply is 260 ppm and I'm getting 32 out at a pressure of nearly 65 psi, thats with the waste tap set to about 60 pure waste 40. With waste fully open pure reading is still 32 but the pressure is about 50 psi.
Question is can I improve this ? will a booster pump get the tds down any further ?
I have read on here of others getting readings of under 10 with a similar supply tds of 260 or there abouts. Any advice welcome , thanks,
Simon

my  4040 with input on 400 comes out 13 that is with the wast tap open 1/4 turn and the pressure guage reads 50psi, you wight want to check that its sealling ak in the houseing so that no waste waste is getting into the pure, but a booster pump should help bring the tds down
