Opinions on Nemesis
« on: November 10, 2010, 05:00:48 pm »
I have recently started using Nemesis. Cant seem to get my head around dilution rates and keep putting 100ml+ in 8 Litre of prespray while with the corrct amount should be 50 ml. Am I wasting it or do most people put a bit extra in. Is is detrimental to put too much in.
How do people find it in general?

Cheers - Joe

Buy a big syringe mate!!!

I use one to mix 60ml of Fusion8 for 20 litres of water.... Bargain :D

Joe
I know of some who deviate from the "standard" of 1:150 ie 7ml to every litre. Some go to 1:80 depending on soiling but 1:100 seems popular, maybe because it is 10ml per litre.

Nemesis, like M-Power, needs water to be able to work well, so too strong may seem to be a negative.
Having said that I think the info for Nemesis refers to spotters at 1:20

As you will be aware, dwell time is important with Nemesis and M-Power - 15 minute

I prespray, agitate and then the dwell.

I suppose 1:100 is about what Im using it at. Getting good results with it especially when i can afford a lot of dwell time or am doing a whole house where i can get ahead a bit.
What temperature are you laying it down at?

For a good result after using Mpower, I would prespray with a proper detergent and extract.
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

No point in using MPower nor Nemesis if you going to do that - environmentally friendly topped with a detergent!
If you want to boost Nem/Mpow, I use Solutions HD after the dwell but just before the rinse.
or
Use Soluboost really hot then mix in with the Nem/Mpow

Absolutely, I add it directly to the solution tank then apply via a spray gun.... Works a treat!!!

Its true mixing nemesis too strong won't make it more effective

Dave I heard for a strong spotter make it even weaker and for fAg burns mix to homeopathic strength and they will disapear before your eyes.

Seriously though I think it's a not much cop, if it WAS a detergent and didn't have it's retailer disciples it would be long forgotton. But of course I'm not doing it right. :)

Splitters, now they are a different matter and like Prochem Pureclean.

If you were a bit closer I would give you my half tub of Pure Clean, I have tried it and prefer Nemesis and MPower. They work and are liquid so no messing about with powders.

and yes, I guess you are doing it wrong if you cant get MPower or Nemesis to work.
