Booster Pump Question
« on: November 09, 2010, 04:14:45 pm »
Hi,i have a 200gpd r/o with a 125psi booster pump on it. The open flow of the pump say's it is 1.2ltr a min open flow. Is this enough,or do i need more of an open flow to the r/o to be more effective ie quicker!
This setup has done for me up until now,but would like to make pure a little quicker, taking me about 10 hours just to make 250 ltr of pure.
Membranes are coming up for a year old now,so may be an excuse to get a 4040...

Before prefilters, was under the impression that it doesn't matter were the pump was located.
