Yeh we should set up our own fire service privately,

then the government can turn to us , when the fire fighters go on strike again, because they are trying to give them normal working hours, instead of playing pool and sleeping, whilst at work... and the other 20 hours they get off per week,...where they then go out window cleaning will have to stop !....

well if you need a driver I am qualified in the green goddess and the red wagons, I have the blue light training and can operate the pump on both models. by the way it cost a small fortune to fly me to the uk to be trained, I was in Bosnia at the time, and they could not get me a military flight quick enough, so I returned via serbia, holland, manchester then to Edinburgh, oh then lost 4 weeks leave to cover the strikes, thanks lads, hope you got your pay rise

Im not gonna rise to any of you, im not a fireman at end of day (yet).

They do do 4 on 4 off, but they still do 40 hours, 10 hour days seeing all sorts of horrible sites. Could you rescue a burning child and watch them die? Id want a good wage for that.

What they choose to do on their days off is completely up to them, if they have the energy to do a bit more work then fairpay to them.

You guys whinge about people on dole who dont do anything...but then these guys are working too much???

I dont see any of your what any of your problems are, apart from a little jealously maybe.
