Just topical - having started out this year i wondered to all guys here that have been going for a littel while now whether trad or wfp what the journeys been like as wc'er -

is it something that you continue to enjoy and enthused about potential and income ?

what do you enjoy most about ut and what do you dislike most?

im early stages so yet to discover my overall thoughts - obviously like most i ;augh but sometimes irritated by the amount hose snagging etc - but im asking just general thoughts about the profession were all in here.  ;)

Like - Being outdoors in the spring and summer, being my own boss, the freedom of not being tied 9 - 5, that it's pays quite well, that i'm building an asset for future sale, meeting people, the satisfaction of knowing you've done a good job, making new friends on the forums, the feeling of self worth, knocking off at 5 and leaving work till 2morrow.

Don't like - managing the round when the weather is poor, dog poop in the back garden, people who cancel you for the winter, the 'not today thanks' brigade, late payers, the rain, numb fingers in winter.

best thing for me is not waiting a month for your wages like most jobs are now, bringing money in everyday is brilliant,

dont get bored of the job cuz the harder you work the more cash you make(day never drags like working for someone)

making my round bigger feels good

not having to worry that your going get laid off

being your own boss

pros - excellent money, time off when its sunny or whenever, part time hrs, no boss, no annoying work mates, daily pay,

cons - bad payers, non payers, can be a boring job, dog poo, snagging hose, reeling in, messers, undercutters,

I enjoy being able to take time off...

When I first started and for 3 years I enjoyed the building of the business it gave me a real sense of achievement....but this last year has seen me getting bored, down and a bit jacked off with it all to tell the truth.

Financially I am happy with what I earn and the amount of time off I have is really good.

In general I find the act of window cleaning boring...same ol, same ol...

I love being in control of my future...and window cleaning allows that.

A bit of a love hate relationship....

Hi's: Been your own boss like everyone else,
Meeting alot of interesting people with all there different issues on life

All the seasons of the year the Spring time when things start to come to life,
the Summer the warm weather when people are more happy,
the Autum when things start to change the crisp leaves falling from the trees with and the first of frosts crisp and gleaming,
Winter with the winter plants shimmering from the first fall of snow with icicles formed on the fascia's or guttering, and the rain fall and people noticing they have gutters that are blocked and getting the add on to window cleaning.

Lows: Heavy winds making it impossible to work in, been unable to work
