a £15 bilge pump off ebay ran off a car battery takes about 20 minutes to fill a 650 ltr tank.
about the same time it takes to make and drink a cup of coffee ;D

I have one of those 12v bilge pumps from Gardiners...it's in the van tank...good for filling the back pack, trolley and emptying the van tank back into the static tank in winter...

Just a question...how does the person where you get free water from get the water into their tank? if that is what it is used for?

Cheers
Dave.
