To split their contacts into smaller sections, My council tender was up for renewal this year as it has always been done by one national over the years and I did not think I could 1. manage the workload 2. compete with a national
but I just checked to see who won the contract and it was awarded to three company's. Two them big company's and the third a small local company, If I knew they were splitting it down I may have went for it or part of it.

a lot of council tenders have to make 3 x what the contrcats is worth and a lot of companys aint going for them, due to the payment terms and what there turnover has to be, as they aint the great earners any more due to the cut backs
