Gutter cleaning your round

Does anyone do this? how much would you charge for say a 4-5 bedroom detached or price per meter? and how often would you recomend it once every 6 months?

Just a thought on increasing my income say a house has 20 meters price i think i saw £5.00 per meter question is how often it cant be every 8 weeks like window cleaning,

i was thinking 2 times a year?
maybe even once per year
or is it once when they need it Ie. every few years i got no idea how it works!

200 customers say what £40 average thats 8k right?

Any thoughts , problems, which machine to go for if this is handy!

Cheers

i would say it depends on the roof.if its covered in moss or over hanging trees then maybe every year but if it hasnt any thing around the house that can cause it to get full up rather quick then maybe every few years or just wait until they ask

a lot of them are empty .  i  have a bent dessert spoon tied to the end of a pole to reach up from the ground to test whats in the gutter .

if you can see grass shoots sticking out over the edge   ,know you are onto a winner

i usually give a price for the lot (front and back) cleaned and often one side can be full and one side empty. i then have to drag out the clean of the "empty " side  so it doesnt seem too quick

i use a folding gutter scraper (you can buy them on ebay) it screws onto a pole and is made of brass and a real joy to use . a few quid only, well spent

i try for £20-£30 per side outsides only, same for insides, (emptying)

its bloody hard work, on your neck and arms,

i will go down the pressure washing route one day, will make it much easier, i will still charge the same though.
