Would you order from a company that charged you to order ?

I mean to call them for an order and be charged a premium rate telephone call !

Theres a website somewhere that gives you an alternative 01, 02 etc number. Think its a link via Martin Lewis.

I think 0844 and 0845 are local rate calls.

In fact I'm pretty sure of it.

Its just that I have free 01 and 02 24/7, so I want to avoid calling anything thats chargeable

0844, no, 0845 yes.

I'm with BT and 0845 is free within my call plan.  0844 isn't.

I suspect most people now just avoid 08anything numbers, as they expect to be ripped off.
