Damp Resin
« on: October 20, 2010, 03:27:58 pm »
Have just had to change the resin in my DI again, only a week since last time.

It usualy last ages but this bag of Tulsion is rubbish. (its the first time I have used Tulsion)

The resin in the bag was slightly damp when I opened it and i am wondering if this will in some way make it less effective?

Although it was damp when I first opened it I have had the bag a few months so dont know if it was damp when I bought it or as a result of my storage.

jack - not brought other brands but mine has always been 'damp' and bag has lasted 6-7 months

2000 ltrs p/w @ 25 TDS

resin is double bagged and i kept mine in the shed with the top of the bag tightly rolled up and weighted.

There are more than one Tulsion specs, MB115 is what you want.

Mine's stored under cover but outside, it's been hot, cold, damp, dry, even frozen solid & I've never noticed any difference in it's performance ???
