what type of cleaning products do you use for house cleaning? i get mine from the supermarket but was wondering if it would be cheaper to buy from the janitoral store. i use things like mr muscle and flash. If anyone could give me any ideas that would be great

Try Aqua Mix products!  When diluted correctly they go miles further than  the likes of Flash etc

 Hi there,Ive recently looked into this ,I too use products from the supermarkets usually what evers on offer ,and grab a few at a time,I have looked online in to buying from a janitorial place and it does appear to work out cheaper.

Those cleaning products from the shops are a racket and are bad for your lungs if used consistenly. No professional uses them. Get your self some triggerspray bottles. Use your clients lekky. Have fill the bottle with cold water then top up with boiling. Use a funnel and dont melt the top. When its full, put a tiny drop of Fairy and some glass cleaner in there too. And away you go  a good water based cheap cleaner that won't cost you your lungs in ten years time. Cillit Bang and mr Muscle are for amateurs. The chemical is only on part of the cleaning pie, I know Cillit bang cleans but does it scrubb?

 I tried out the water/washing up liquid and glass cleaner solution today Neil and was pleased with the results,I also didnt add my usual floor cleaner to the bucket water to wash the floors ,just a tadge of washing up liquid ,so hopefully I will be looking at converting permantly and saving my lungs in the long run  As a matter of interest what do you use as a descaler please ?

Descaler for what, a kettle? Put some vinegar in with the water into the kettle and boil  it, brand new kettle to be in fine fettle chico.

After you mop your floor with the fairy there is a risk of then leaving streaks as the chemical dries in. Ive never actually met someone that I have not had to show them how to mop a floor. Use a doodle bug after you mop. get clean hot water, no chemical. Wring out a micro fibre cloth and fold it on correctly in to the slots with the leading edge facing out. Run it over the floor in figure 8 formation. It will take some practice, but even after you have mopped the floor initially, you will be amazed at the amount of crud that still comes off this time. This second pass is really just to lift off an residue from the fairy. Fairy is really, obviously only designed for food grease, but it will break the surface tension of the water to be used as a general applicator. Stand well back if your spraying it, do breath in the vapour.
