as above, im seeing alot of wc around using the phrase reach n wash or/and the logo on their vans and flyers but dont have the system from ionics.

so is this a little naughty and could they get in trouble by using this logo? - im sure you all know this logo by now.

Perhaps ionics don't mind too much because it's free advertising even though they don't have the system

They are very funny about it, I can't remember who it was but a WCer came on here with pictures of his newly sign written van which included the Reach & Wash logo.

He had a solicitors letter within the week!!

ive seen a company even name themselves the reach n wash system and use the logo. so even if they had one of their systems surely they cant do that?

I dont know if its still out there? but wc suppliers were pedling pwc magazine a few years back when the working at hight regs were still unclear..anyway ionics used to be all over this mag (not sure might of even produced the mag?) and one time there was a huge ad saying they were gonna sue everyone and his dog refferring to there system as reach and wash if it wasnt one of theres, the same went for logo ripping.

IMO they're a bunch of pratts, I wouldn't want to advertise for them! :

you have  to buy a complete system to use the logo. there are loads of posts on here about this.
its thier logo they paid for it to be designed, they copywrote the reach and wash name and it is offered to thier customers.
they dont want to see it linked to other products and they will use the law to restrict its use.
sorry i agree with them. it is plain lazy to steal other peoples ideas rather than put the effort into designing your own. imagine you come up with a catchy name and slogan  then someone sees it and plasters it all over thier van, what would you do?

and before the accusations start to fly i dont like the company, i dont own any off thier products and probaly never will and if people go back in time on posts they will see me having a go at members of ionics

i agree with that. I do like some of there products but there prices are a joke.

They are no different to any other business that has a logo. It belongs to them so you shouldn't be using it unless given permission to do so.
