Do you clean the frames along with the glass each time ?

Just starting wfp and I am doing the above so wondered if it was normal practice.

Pretty much. Maybe every other month if they still look clean in between.

Just make sure you get them up to scratch on the first clean - especially the top frame.

following on from that question, do how often do you clean the tops of the frame? and when you do it do you clean the tops then come back to the glass, or clean the tops at the same time as doing the glass?

1st clean - scrub that top frame scrubbedy scrub scrub scrub! Including the vent.

Then sides and glass then cill.

Repeat cleans - if the top frame looks clean then clean the glass and cill.

If you do clean the top frame on a repeat then I would then do the sides, scrub the cill and go back to the glass with a final flick across the cill with the water turned off.

Always clean frames every time, it is actually hard not to.
On top frame just do a horizontal sweep with the jets angled onto the glass.

clean all the frame everytime except top bit, i do these every 3 months.
