cut of the money?
« on: October 08, 2010, 07:00:04 pm »
hi all.   just a quick question if you sent out a employee and gave him £100 of work to do in one day, how would you split the money.  i.e is it best to pay so much per hour or to give him an incentive to work harder by giving him a % of the daily take ie. 60/40...70/30. taking in to consideration that i supply the van, water, etc etc.

Put him on a daily wage to do x amount of work and don't discuss the takings with him.

Send him out , dont tell him how much hes going to earn ....

tell him  XYZ needs to be done.

Pay him when XYZ has been done...

then they wont do half a job not knowing how much they'll earn.

I would pay him for example £300 per week then £10 per day for hitting his target of X amount of jobs.

15-20 3 bed semis Daz but that would be more down to takings for that day say you have £30 houses he will only need to clean 5-7 of those in a day.
