poles and brushes???

The only Unger WFP pole I've sampled felt heavy, flimsy, and whippy.  It was in 4ft sections I think.  I tried it outside the janitorial shop.  I handed it back to the guy and told him that Unger need to do a lot better than that.  He was after an honest opinion and knew he would get one from me.  That was 2-3 years ago.  Maybe they've improved?

Maybe there's a clue in the Thread title! ;D

When it comes to wfp, Unger lost the plot years ago.

I have had a couple of their 17' poles. found them to be a pretty good day to day work horse type.

Nothing special, but they did last well.

There green poles weigh a tonn they are 5 yrs behind the game. there premier pole carbontec or somthing my mate has one, you know the one without hose water runs through middle of each modular section, well he has had loads of problemsWITH SECTIONS LEAKING HE HAS HAD TO SEND SEVERAL DIFFERENT SECTIONS BACK and again heavier than equivalent poles, long story short he is getting a superlite.

When I first went wfp I had an unger aluminium pole supplied with my trolley system and it went to 42ft. What a larf! Anything over 25ft and it bent right over and weighed a ton.

I used it as an 18/24ft for my work. But it was all I knew.

It was a trad. pole adapted with a hose outside for wfp and did the job but never again. I still use the 18ft bit for an occasional internal trad. job which is 1st floor.
It's a game of three halves!

Unger are the biggest name in window cleaning equipment by a mile
they sell more equipment than all the other manufactures put together.

So to ask why dosent anyone use Unger, is silly.

That doesn't make a Jot & you know it! ;)

Unger rely on naivety of the customer. There wfp gear is rubbish, any experienced wfp'er would agree. They are miles behind the others!

Who the heck jets their re badged vikans? Jets just either side of the center? ???

Dave you obviously know something i dont...let me guess..unger? But i have an obvious answer for this as we all agree unger are the biggest name in trad tools, so when somebody converts to wfp its an obvious choice .however he will soon find that his long standing and esteemed supplier have sold him an overpriced and underdeveloped product.

I am not slagging off unger either, and I can not comment on their wfp stuff only trad, but the guy defending them sells their wfp equipment
