i cant believe the ex-l is still being recommended, bought one 2 years ago, used it 4 time, threw it in my shed, gathering cobwebs now, it was the worst pole i ever bought, heavy, whippy, just hated the thing  ::)

An extel up to 18' is a good all round pole at a reasonable cost to the owner IMO.

I had a 24' extel once, it was a bleedin nightmare. I had brewers droop once, it reminded me of that, only worse  :P

We still have a 35ft hybrid and really can't fault it.

Perhaps if I weren't so tight and splashed out on a carbon jobbie I might think differently ;)
Come and talk dirty to us!!!

i got to xtels  1 x 17 and 1 x 30 odd,  have no problems with them,  just cant justify a fortune for a big pole when only use it once every few weeks

i started off with a 17ft xtel pole, thought it was ok at the time until i got a carbon fibre pole, what a difference, the xtel is junk and a waste of money, they wear out fast and are useless at height,

there a false economy buy carbon fibre you will never go back to fibreglass again
