Heres a couple of new ones I've done this week.

This second one, the grounds were designed by Gertrude Jekyll, behind the house is an old Norman church, I felt really taken back in time and priveliged to be working there, it was a real pleasure, I do love my job!

I told you I didn't want a window cleaner; if you persist in doing them I'll set the dogs on you!!

And if you think you're getting your fiver you can forget it; our last skivvy did it for £3.50 ;)
Come and talk dirty to us!!!

That balconey one at the front didnt get done. I had told her I'd need access by going through the house. When the time came the window had been screwed shut. I'll take my ladders next time.

The first one took just over 3 hours. It was minging, no-one had cleaned it for 3 years and that had obviously been trad.

There were a lot of replacement panes (45 in total apparently) due to vandalism, so lots of fresh putty.

The place has been neglected and run down for a good number of years.

It was empty until this time last year. Up until then the local pikeys and chavs had stolen all the lead off the roof (the place was flooded apparently because of this) lifted all the upstairs floorboards to nick the lead pipes and smashed half the windows. You couldnt get in through the front door this time last year as it was all over-grown.

The oiks were still trying to raid the place even after the family had bought the place and moved in  :o :o

One night the husband had to go downstairs with his shotgun and ask 21 of them to leave !!

I found it odd though, as theyre having new windows fitted in a few weeks, why didnt they wait til then before they asked me to do the first clean  ???

Lovely woman owns it though. Very nice, friendly and funny to talk to. Down to earth.

The second one took 2 hours.
