i have had a few clamps come loose on me, what i noticed, is the pole was still original smooth, anything glued should be keyed, roughed with sandpaper, then the glue and clamp fixed, simple solution might help this frequent problem,

The point I was making is that guys spend good money on a new pole and when bits fall off or whatever after only using it for a month, they seem to accept that it's ok.It's not acceptable to sell goods that knowingly have faults. You should try one, then you might see why many are so forgiving of minor problems, of which happen with many poles & you'll be able to appreciate first hand just what Gardiners have done for our industry! You'll also discover what you've been missing! I'm still using my MKI SLX daily, it's nearly 3 years old now. So if I go out and buy a top of the range van, the fact that the wheels fall off periodically, I should be grateful

hx-tel 30 ft. GREAT!!!!!!!!!i have split the last 2 sections off and add them when i need them, really stiff really light, gets some hammer every day. NEVER NEVER had a problem with clamps, black hands, snapping. NOTHING!!!!! anyone use the same? I think they are one if the best poles you can buy AND USE dat in day out without problems! anyone agree. or are you all brain washed
What is it about gardiners? When they sell you a pole, do they somehow manage to put you in a trance, so that when something breaks or falls off after a few weeks you just smile and praise them for being so professional in sending out replacement clamps and tubes of glue If the same thing happened when you bought a brand new car and bits fell off after a few weeks, would you still say how wonderful it is and its the best car you've ever owned??
dave!!!!!! lol changed the one i got off you for a hybrid. i love it!!!!!! blows over in the wind!!!! honest

Surly there isn't any chance that something could go wrong? :Obviously, it wasn't a known problem, but as it's become apparent Gardiners are doing what they are renowned for- sorting it out for their customers who have had an issue!Gardiners design & supply, without doubt, the best poles on the market! unfortunately for you, you're probably still slugging away with a drain pipe!

So why do brodex hydra poles come with 3yr warranty? They have clamps as well.As for the drainpipe, I use a 2" plastic one so it's quite light really
iff the pole is a good as you say it is and you're not to bothered about you're current problem why post it on here , i have had probs with brodex clamps but just went out and bought some glue a whole load quicker than contacting gardiners and waiting for glue to be sent out , Either the glue is no good or they are not using enough somebody needs their arse kicking they are letting the company down which is a real shame
