Acrylic Adhesive Arghh
« on: October 05, 2010, 09:02:15 pm »
I have been asked to clean up after a contractor covered work surfaces with a protective film normally for carpets it is leaving a heavy acrylic residue that is very stubborn to remove using normal methods. I have had limited success using a Traffic film remover.

Any suggestions welcome

I did a builders clean with much the same thing on laminate flooring - I used pvc window solvant cleaner BUT you WILL need to do a tiny test patch as it could take the printing off of trims. Change the cloth regularly
