« on: October 01, 2010, 10:10:13 am »
morning all,was asked yesterday by one of my window customers if i did house cleans(eot),it turns out they run a letting agency, they say if price is right and the job done to a high standard they could give me quite a lot of work.obviously i,m goingto give it a shot but i have no idea on pricing, whilst i don,t want to cut my own throat i also don,t want to seem greedy, the house in question is a 2 bed ex coucil with a small bathroom and a smallish kitchen also to include carpets.any advice would be really apprieciated..thaks guys

Well, I will reply later on with more details.

It depends on your infrastracture on how to approach this offer. You could go in cheaply as they are saying you will get more work.... but the question is will you get more work or is that just a line to get one job done cheaply.

On the detail that you have given, obviously I take it that the house is not that much of a mess inside as if its like 40 bags of rubbish to remove then a different price will need to be worked out

My price would be along the lines of £140 + vat. It should not take you that long, and I am assuming you have a carpet cleaning machine and wont need to hire one as that will eat your profit.

You could say the price is £150 - 190 all carpets and windows and cleaning.. and when you recieve more jobs... you could give a discount on all following properties.

Best of luck
